Description
Nowhere is the Baratheon doctrine of “heavy arms and heavier armor” better represented than with the Champions o f the Stag. These knights don full plate mail and charge into battle atop massive destriers in plate barding. They’re among the heaviest cavalry in the War of the Five Kings, capable of bringing overwhelming force anywhere on the field, and then holding that line better than even some front-line units. An intelligent commander will keep them mobile to threaten enemy weak points, but, if needed, Champions can pin an enemy in melee.
